Angela Thompson-Williams Arrested for Identity Theft and Fraud

WALLACE, Duplin County — Angela Denise Thompson-Williams, 48, was arrested by the Wallace Police Department after allegedly using a stolen debit card fraudulently at several businesses in the town.

The theft was reported, and after a thorough investigation, Thompson-Williams was identified as the suspect. She has been charged with the following:

Four counts of obtaining property by false pretense
Five counts of identity theft
Five counts of financial card fraud
Thompson-Williams is currently held in the Duplin County Jail under a $20,000 secured bond. The investigation into the case continues as authorities work to address the full extent of the fraudulent activity.
