Amir Hussain Khan Arrested with Heroin Worth Rs 4 Crore in Assam

In a major anti-narcotics operation, the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police seized 600 grams of heroin worth approximately Rs 4 crore in Amingaon. The contraband was found inside a hidden compartment of a truck en route from Mizoram to Lower Assam.

The vehicle, registered under NL 01 AE 1147, was intercepted by law enforcement officers, leading to the discovery of 50 packets of the illegal substance. The police arrested Amir Hussain Khan (resident of Barpeta) in connection with the seizure. Investigators suspect Khan is part of a larger drug trafficking network and are continuing their efforts to identify others involved in the illegal trade.

Authorities are committed to taking strong legal action against those involved in such criminal activities.
