Amanda M. Morgan Arrested for Commercial Burglary in Tupelo

A woman from Saltillo has been arrested and charged with burglary of a commercial building. Officers from the Tupelo Police Department responded to Big Lenny’s Storage, located at 1229 Washington Street, on October 17th, 2024, following reports of a break-in.

Upon arriving, officers discovered that a storage unit had been burglarized, with multiple items reported stolen. The business owner provided video surveillance footage, which captured possible suspects involved in the crime.

Following a detailed investigation, authorities arrested 29-year-old Amanda M. Morgan on October 29, 2024. She has been charged with burglary of a commercial building. Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen has set Morgan’s bond at $3,500. The case will be presented to a Lee County Grand Jury for further proceedings.
