Aman Kamal Khan, 2 Others Held with Rs2.21 Cr Mephedrone in Thane

In a major drug bust, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Thane Police seized 1.109 kg of mephedrone (MD) valued at Rs2.21 crore and arrested three persons from the Shil-Daighar area, officials said Thursday.

Acting on a tip-off, the ANC raided a flat on Wednesday night, where they found the accused in possession of the synthetic drug, reportedly intended for sale to a woman buyer.

The arrested have been identified as:

Aman Kamal Khan (21) – a poultry business operator

Ilias Kushal Khan (19) – a hotelier

Saifali Asabul Haque Khan (25) – a driver by profession

All three are residents of Rajasthan and have been booked under the NDPS Act for drug possession and intent to distribute.

The police confirmed that the narcotic substance was seized from a residential apartment, and the investigation is ongoing to identify further links in the drug distribution network.
