Alistair Millar, 63, has been sentenced to 32 months in prison after being convicted of sexual offences. The sentencing took place at Stirling Sheriff Court, where Millar pleaded guilty to assaulting a man in Tillicoultry in March of this year.
Detective Inspector Forbes Wilson expressed hope that the sentence would bring some comfort to the victim, stating, “I hope this sentence provides the man with some comfort knowing that Millar has now been jailed.”
He reiterated the commitment to pursuing justice for victims of sexual crimes, encouraging anyone with similar experiences to report them, regardless of when they occurred.
