Alcoby Zeno Charged with Attempted Murder in Lafayette Shooting

LAFAYETTE, La. — Alcoby Zeno, a 35-year-old man from Lafayette, has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday night. He is facing charges of attempted second degree murder.

Lafayette Police responded to a report of gunfire at around 8:20 p.m. in the 500 block of Orchid Drive, where they found a victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Detectives quickly identified Zeno as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant.

The LPD Special Investigators Unit located Zeno and arrested him on Wednesday afternoon. Details regarding his bond have not been released.
