Alberto Alvarado Paz Arrested for DUI and Endangerment in Gibson County

Gibson County, Indiana (Dunya News) – On December 13, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report about a single-vehicle crash in the 6500 block of South 1050 West. Deputies responded to the scene, where they found 26-year-old Alberto Alvarado Paz in an extreme state of intoxication after his truck veered off the roadway and crashed into trees.

Deputy Bryan Small began a roadside investigation upon arrival. After completing the investigation, Paz was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. He was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated/Endangerment and Operating a Vehicle Without a License.

Assisting in the investigation were Sgt. Roger Ballard, Deputy Jennifer Loesch, Special Deputies Jim Tucker and Chuck Frederick, Conservation Officer Matt Clark, and Jail Officer Pamela Barbosa.

As always, criminal defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
