Albany Duo, Nateisha Watson & Parrish Butler, Face Drug & Gun Charges

Albany, NY – Two Albany residents have been arraigned on drug and weapons charges following a police raid that uncovered firearms and narcotics.

According to Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon, Nateisha Watson, 41, and Parrish Butler, 32, appeared in Albany County Court on Monday, facing multiple felony charges. Both were charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.

Butler faces additional charges, including four counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.

Police Raid Uncovers Guns & Drugs
The arrests stem from a February 26 raid conducted by the Albany Police Department’s Community Response Unit as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. Officers searched a residence on the 700 block of Old South Pearl Street, where they recovered:

A loaded firearm

A semi-automatic pistol

Crack cocaine

Drug paraphernalia used for distribution

Potential Sentences
If convicted, both Watson and Butler could face up to 15 years in state prison. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Marissa Olsen of the Street Crimes Unit.
