In a shocking turn of events, an employee responsible for refilling ATMs in Mysuru has been arrested after allegedly stealing a large sum of money. Akshay, a resident of Turuganuru village in T. Narasipura taluk, worked for TL Enterprises for three months and was tasked with replenishing ATM machines. However, an internal audit soon revealed a significant discrepancy in the funds.
Upon investigation, it was found that Akshay had stolen ₹5,80,000, intended for an ATM near his village. CCTV footage showed Akshay taking the money, and his accomplice, Tejaswini, played a significant role in the crime. The investigation further uncovered that the duo had used the stolen funds to purchase gold, as confirmed by footage from a jewelry store.
An FIR was filed at the Bilikere police station, naming Akshay and Tejaswini as suspects. Despite the complaint, Akshay evaded arrest for a while. However, police later acted on a tip-off and arrested him while he was attending a party near his village.
