WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ohio (WTAP) – Frances Nicholle White, 29, of Akron, Ohio, was arrested on Feb. 13 after detectives discovered drugs during a traffic stop in Washington County.
The stop was initiated by a detective from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office after observing multiple traffic violations. White appeared nervous and fidgety during the encounter.
K9 Timmy was deployed to perform a free-air sniff around the vehicle, and the dog gave a positive indication on the driver’s door. Upon searching the vehicle, detectives found a glass smoking device and a clear plastic bag containing a white, chunky substance concealed inside White’s bra. White later revealed she had 47 grams of fentanyl.
White has been charged with trafficking drugs and possession of fentanyl, both first-degree felonies. She is being held in the Washington County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
