Fallon Guliwala, wife of actor Ajaz Khan, was arrested by the customs department in connection with a drug smuggling case following a raid at their Jogeshwari residence. During the raid, officials reportedly seized various narcotics, including approximately 130 grammes of marijuana and other controlled substances.
The arrest follows the previous detention of Suraj Gaud, a staff member at Khan’s office, on October 8, after he allegedly ordered 100 grammes of Mephedrone (MD) via courier from a European country. The parcel was delivered to Khan’s Andheri office, where Gaud worked, leading to his arrest.
Customs officers revealed that their investigation, triggered by intelligence, pointed to Guliwala’s involvement in the drug operation. They acted on the information, raiding her Jogeshwari flat, where the narcotics were found.
Following Guliwala’s arrest, the authorities indicated plans to question Ajaz Khan regarding his awareness of the drugs found at their residence and the package delivered to his office. However, Khan was not available for questioning at the time.
The investigation is ongoing, with the customs department tracing the parcel and confirming it contained MDMA, allegedly ordered under Gaud’s name, as part of the larger drug smuggling operation.
