Ajaypal Singh and Gurjinder Singh Arrested for Smuggling 3.2kg Heroin

On Friday, two drug smugglers were arrested in Ferozepur with a significant 3.2kg haul of heroin. The operation was carried out by a police team from Kulgarhi, which was conducting routine checks near Saidan Wala village.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Saumya Mishra, confirmed that the police received a tip-off regarding Ajaypal Singh, a resident of Jagatpura village in Tarn Taran district, and Gurjinder Singh, a local from Ferozepur district, being involved in the heroin smuggling. The informant provided details that the two men were traveling in a car from Malwal Qadeem village toward the Ferozepur-Zira road.

A checkpoint was quickly set up, and the suspects were intercepted. Upon searching their vehicle, a Baleno car, the police recovered the 3.2kg of heroin. The duo was arrested, and further investigations are ongoing.
