Four individuals, including two women, were arrested by Adoor police for their involvement in drug peddling. The authorities seized 100 grams of MDMA from the suspects.
The arrested individuals are Muhammad Savad (26) from Muliyaru, Shanawaz (50) from Kotekani, his wife Shariefa (40), and PM Shuhaib (28) from Chemnad. The arrests took place at a location known as Manjal after the police intercepted their vehicle following a tip-off.
Upon questioning, the suspects admitted to procuring the drugs from Bengaluru. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to trace the source and distribution network.
