Abhishek Reddy & T Chinnamma Arrested in Fake Job Scam

In a major breakthrough, Hyderabad Task Force police arrested Abhishek Reddy and T Chinnamma for allegedly cheating numerous job seekers with false promises of providing overseas employment. The duo is accused of swindling individuals by offering jobs in foreign countries and charging hefty sums for fake or invalid visa documents.

The police seized two laptops, five mobile phones, agreement papers, fake visa approval papers, and a luxury SUV worth Rs25 lakh from the accused. The investigation revealed that the two suspects were running a fraudulent job consultancy under the guise of offering high-paying overseas jobs.

Abhishek Reddy, who had previously worked in Singapore on a job visa, reportedly used his connections there to start a fake job consultancy with his associate T Chinnamma. Together, they set up an office in Himayathnagar and began offering quick visa processing and high-salary jobs in foreign countries, even to individuals without the necessary qualifications. The scam targeted approximately 25 people, who were issued fraudulent visa documents and told they had secured jobs abroad.

The accused collected a total of Rs83 lakh from the victims, promising lucrative job opportunities and quick visa processing. However, after receiving the money, they began avoiding the victims, leading to multiple complaints being filed against them.

Upon learning that a cheating case had been registered against them at Narayanguda police station, the accused relocated their office to Alwal. However, their activities were soon discovered, and a second case was registered against them at the local police station. The Task Force team acted swiftly and arrested the duo, bringing an end to their fraudulent operation.
