Aberdeen Man Mikal Troy Arrested on Drug and Multiple Warrants

ABERDEEN, NC – The Aberdeen Police Department announced the arrest of 21-year-old Mikal Troy during a patrol at a local apartment complex on June 6. Officers approached a vehicle with multiple occupants suspected of drug activity, including Troy.

Authorities discovered that Troy had several outstanding warrants from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office for charges including communicating threats, trespassing, firearm possession, and carrying a concealed gun. He also faced failure-to-appear warrants for attempted breaking or entering, and marijuana possession.

During his detainment, officers found suspected marijuana on Troy and inside the vehicle. Troy now faces additional charges for felony possession of marijuana, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, and resisting a public officer.

Troy is held at the Moore County Detention Center with bonds totaling $44,000.
