VANCEBORO, N.C. — The Craven County Sheriff’s Office and Vanceboro Police Department have arrested Aaron E. Cronier, 30, of Vanceboro in connection to a series of break-ins reported on Saturday, June 7.
Cronier was taken into custody on Sunday, June 8, after a joint law enforcement operation identified him as the suspect in two separate break-ins that occurred earlier that weekend.
According to warrants, Cronier unlawfully entered two occupied buildings—one located on Mill Road and the other on McLawhorn Lane. During the incidents, he allegedly caused significant property damage, including:
Breaking two exterior glass windows, a glass viewing window, and decorative woodwork at one location
Smashing a window and screen protector at the second location
Authorities say Cronier stole an orange push mower and a wooden base desk lamp, with a combined estimated value of $500.

1 count of Misdemeanor Larceny
Cronier is being held at the Craven County Jail on a $100,000 secured bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 13 at the Craven County Courthouse.
