Three individuals are facing multiple drug and firearm charges after a traffic stop in Carthage on February 2nd, 2024. Detectives from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office initiated the stop due to a lost or stolen registration plate. Upon conducting a search of the vehicle, they discovered methamphetamine, suboxone, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm.
The suspects, Eric Jeffreys, 44, and Russell Huddleston, 35, both from Cameron, and Pamela Jones, 35, from Sanford, were arrested and jailed at the Moore County Detention Center under $100,000 secured bonds.
The charges against the three include trafficking in methamphetamine by possession, trafficking in methamphetamine by transport, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance, simple possession of schedule III-controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Huddleston is also facing an additional charge of possession of marijuana.
The suspects are scheduled for a court appearance on February 16th, 2024, and they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
