In a significant breakthrough, eleven drug peddlers, including Sandeep Shah, the kingpin of the Shah syndicate, were arrested for running an inter-state illicit drug racket. This syndicate was primarily involved in the supply of heroin, which was distributed through an organized supply chain.
The accused have been identified as Sandeep Shah, Neeraj Kashyap (Delhi), Shubham Shandil, Sandeep Dhiman, Sanjay Verma, Vishal Mehta, Ashish, Prajwal Jasta, Nitin Khepan, Ankit, and Abhinav Kanwar. The arrests took place between January 16 and January 26, with Neeraj Kashyap arrested in Delhi on January 19 and Sandeep Shah captured in Kolkata, West Bengal.
