In a significant breakthrough, the Kukatpally police arrested three habitual offenders on Tuesday for their involvement in a recent theft case. The suspects have been identified as Sampangi Laxman (44), Gummadi Murali (54), and his son Gummadi Naga Shankar (23).
The arrests were made following a complaint lodged by Kamani Madhusudhan Rao, a 57-year-old businessman and resident of Sri Sitha Palace in Jayanagar, Kukatpally. Rao reported the theft, which led to a swift investigation by local authorities. The trio is accused of breaking into the premises and committing the crime.
The police have been lauded for their quick action in apprehending the suspects, who are known for their previous involvement in similar offenses.
