4 Arrested for Ruckus and Assault at Karan Aujla Concert in Gurugram

Four individuals, including two doctors, an NSG officer, and a medical student, were arrested for creating a disturbance and assaulting a police officer outside a Karan Aujla concert in Gurugram on Sunday. The accused, identified as Divyanshu (23), Ajay (24), both doctors at SGT University, Abhay (26), a Major with the National Security Guard (NSG), and Rishabh (21), an MBBS student, were reportedly in an inebriated state when the incident occurred.

According to the Gurugram police spokesperson, the suspects attempted to force their way into the concert but were stopped by law enforcement officers at the venue’s entrance. The situation escalated as the group became aggressive, disturbing other concertgoers and tearing the uniform of a police officer during the confrontation, injuring him in the process.

After the altercation, additional police officers arrived at the scene and took all four suspects into custody. An FIR was filed under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Badshahpur police station, and the accused were later produced in court on Monday. They were subsequently remanded to judicial custody.

The investigation is ongoing as police continue to probe the details surrounding the incident.
