16-Year-Old Girl’s Murder Solved; Sanjeet Kumar Arrested in Khanna

The Khanna police have successfully solved the murder of a 16-year-old girl, whose naked body was discovered near the Alaud village railway tracks. The victim, a resident of Iqbal Nagar in Mandi Gobindgarh, had been missing since the evening of March 11.

Authorities arrested Sanjeet Kumar (26), a mason from Mandi Gobindgarh, in connection with the crime. The girl’s body was found on March 13, and her identity was confirmed after police circulated her image.

An investigation revealed that the victim and Sanjeet had a brief relationship, which is believed to be linked to her tragic death. Police have made significant progress in the case, leading to the arrest of the suspect.
