11th-Grade Student Kasif Mirza Arrested for Rs. 42 Lakh Scam

Kasif Mirza, an 11th-grade student from Nasirabad, was arrested for defrauding over 200 people, mostly women, of a staggering Rs. 42 lakh in a fake investment scheme. The scam, which began in November 2023, involved Mirza promising high returns on investments, only to deceive his victims with bogus offers.

The victims, two of whom have filed formal complaints, revealed that they lost a total of Rs. 42 lakh to Mirza’s fraudulent activities. The cyber police swiftly took action, forming a special team to investigate the case. Mirza has been remanded for two days, and authorities are now questioning him about possible accomplices involved in the scam.
