10 More Pakistani Nationals Arrested in Bengaluru for Fake Documents

The Bengaluru Police have arrested 10 additional Pakistani nationals for staying illegally in India with forged documents, bringing the total number of people arrested in the case to 18. The arrests were made after the police apprehended Parvez, the alleged kingpin behind the network that helped these individuals obtain fake identities.

The accused are reportedly linked to the Mehdi Foundation and had been living in India using fake passports and forged Hindu identities. The investigation suggests that some of the detained Pakistani nationals had been hiding in various parts of the country, while others were caught in different Bengaluru areas.

According to police sources, the 10 Pakistani nationals were arrested in two separate locations. Four of them were apprehended near Jigani, while three others were arrested from Bengaluru’s Peenya area. The arrests follow the earlier detention of Parvez, an Indian national from Uttar Pradesh, who had been arrested for the third time in connection with this case.

Parvez is accused of facilitating the creation of fake documentation for Pakistani nationals, aiding their illegal stay in India. His second wife, a resident of Pakistan, is also under investigation in a separate case related to these activities.

Following his arrest, Parvez reportedly instructed his associates to surrender to the police. This led to the 10 Pakistani nationals appearing at the Jigani police station to face legal action. Police officials have indicated that more arrests are expected as the investigation continues, particularly regarding the scope of the fake document network and its operations across the country.

The case highlights a growing concern over illegal immigration and the use of fraudulent documents to secure identities in India. Authorities are continuing to investigate the links between the arrested individuals and the Mehdi Foundation, which may have been involved in orchestrating these illegal activities.
